We partnered with ex-firefighters from the city of Ottawa to produce a realistic office fire scenario to train office employees in fire safety. 

We built an interactive virtual office environment (with your typical faulty electrical wiring) and progressively spread the fire throughout the area. Keen observers could spot the source of the fire and act quickly to extinguish it, while failing to act quickly resulted in the fire spreading uncontrollably, leaving you with one option, evacuation!

Following a presentation about hazards and fire safety, employees got to experience what it's like to be in an office fire through an immersive virtual reality experience. After the VR training, employees use what they've learnt to extinguish an actual fire, with the help of the City of Ottawa Fire Prevention Team.

Our experience taught our client's employees what to do when encountering an electrical fire, how to handle and operate a fire extinguisher, and most importantly: when to evacuate!
